Del Mar

We went out to dinner in Del Mar, CA north of San Diego...and arrived just after sunset. The beach was really pretty as was the sky and ocean after sunset. We ate at Poseidon which is right on the beach, the food and service was very good but it's a popular date place on Saturday night so the volume level was pretty loud.

As I recall, there's a sushi place up around top that has an austere glass front. Iv'e long since forgotten the name of it but it use to have an all-you-can eat option if you sit at the bar. The best part was the sushi chef would watch your interest and offer to make ever more intricate choices.
